With the Gulf water temperature trying to warm up spanish and king mackerel are starting to show up the rig I use for spanish is 3 ounce trolling lead 10 feet 40 lb. berkley vanish and a clark or squid spoon. Kings live cigar minnow or herring 40 lb test wire no. 4 treble 3 to 4 inches of 40 lb and another no. 4 treble place both hooks in the top of bait and hold on it should be ugly.
