Redfish University report-September 25-27, 2012 Wow! The previous report made us laugh uncontrollably. Just priceless! The originality is astonishing and the lack of creditials is hugely alarming. If you can't beat them, join them, I guess. Anyway, RU performed 2 instructional redfish and speckled trout trips today(Thurs. 27) and both the morning and afternoon sessions were excellent. We also had some outstanding trips on the 25th and 26th. We're really finding some very large speckled trout in the 18-25" range and kept most fish in the 17-18" range. A wide variety of artificials will work. The redfish have been very willing to take Sebile Bongos most of the morning and are typically in the 20-30" range. A Redfish University trip will normally yield 30-50 quality speckled trout and 5-10 redfish in all sizes. Taking the next three days off to laugh some more and do the weekend in Miami.
