Fishing Report 04-06-10 (Tuesday) With weather as nice as one could hope for, we were also hoping the fishing would be the same. Pelican seemed littered with small fish the day before, so we opted for 8A and Brevard County Artifical reef for today's trip. A similar problem with thousands of smaller fish hanging on the reef at 8A quickly made us change tactics to, like the day before fish along the edges, where we picked us several Trigger's and SeaBass. We went out to a little deeper water at the Brevard County Artifical Reef in 120' waters. Here we were catching Porgy's and a few SeaBass to start with, until the Red Snapper were found. Three good sized specimin's were caught for the trip, any one of which would have fed a family a nice big meal. The last catch of the day was a 42" Atlantic Sharpnosed Shark, caught on a smaller bottom rig with a 2/0 circle hook on a lighter spinning setup. Like most trips hundreds of fish were caught, with a few dozen keepers. Captain Henry ACME Ventures Fishing www.ACME-Ventures-Fishing.com
